What can you do for free?
The programme spreads across Seven Dials and the wider Covent Garden neighbourhood. Free activities and treats advertised for the day include:
- Live bagpipe performances and a Scottish lemonade station at Islander
- Doggy ice cream, games and Pup Cups at BOW WOW
- Skincare samples, consultations and SPF top-ups at selected beauty pop-ups
- Complimentary treats at LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW
- Brand games, prize opportunities and outdoor demonstrations
- A traffic-free walk around the streets surrounding Seven Dials
Free samples and gifts may be limited or linked to a purchase, so check the conditions before joining a queue.
Discounts and food offers
There will also be one-day restaurant and shop offers, including selected complimentary drinks with a meal or booking, buy-one-get-one-free drinks and money off at participating businesses.
You do not need to buy anything to enjoy the street party itself. If you want to keep the day cheap, decide on a spending limit before arriving and treat the free activities as the main attraction.
Getting there
Seven Dials is a short walk from Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road and Leicester Square stations. The event covers several streets, so Seven Dials Monument is a useful starting point.
The area is likely to be busy. Public transport is the easiest option because local streets will be closed to traffic.
