If your small business pays for flights, British Airways On Business lets the company collect points on eligible travel. New members can enter referral code OB14433405 when registering and receive 1,500 bonus On Business Points after completing an eligible flight within 12 months.
Referral offer: our company may also receive On Business Points after you complete the qualifying flight.
How to get the On Business referral bonus
Claim the 1,500 bonus points
- Check the company is eligible.
On Business is intended for small and medium-sized businesses and has its own membership conditions.
- Open the official registration page.
Register the company rather than creating only a personal British Airways Club account.
- Enter referral code OB14433405.
Add it where the form asks whether an existing member recommended the programme.
- Add the membership number to an eligible booking.
Make sure the On Business details are attached before travel.
- Complete an eligible flight within 12 months.
The bonus is connected to qualifying travel, not registration alone.
What is British Airways On Business?
On Business is a free loyalty programme for eligible companies. The business collects points when its employees travel on qualifying flights with British Airways, American Airlines, Iberia and selected partners.
Points belong to the company and can be used for eligible reward flights or cabin upgrades, subject to availability and the programme rules. This makes it different from a personal frequent-flyer account.
Can you collect On Business Points and Avios together?
Yes, where the booking and flight are eligible. The company traveller can add their personal British Airways Club number to collect Avios, while the booking also includes the company’s On Business number.
The two balances have different owners and uses:
- Avios belong to the individual traveller
- On Business Points belong to the registered company
- Avios and On Business Points are redeemed under separate rules
- On Business Points are not the same as British Airways tier points
Check both numbers appear correctly in the booking rather than trying to add them after every trip.
Is On Business worth joining?
It makes the most sense when a company already expects to pay for qualifying flights. Registration is free, and collecting an additional company reward is better than leaving eligible points unclaimed.
It is less useful if the company rarely flies or always books airlines and fares that do not qualify. Do not choose a more expensive flight only to collect points. Compare the full fare, baggage, timings and flexibility first.
